Around the Nursery Today – Lots of Manzanitas and Silktassles beginning their winter flowers!

Here are three different types of Silktassles beginning their interesting winter blooms. First and 4th photos are of the Ashy-leaved Silktassle. The second photo shows a Coast Silktassle which i grew from seed I collected in the hills here. The third photo shows a James Roof Coast Silktassle in a large container just beginning to bloom – later than usual.

Here are a few of the Manzanitas beginning to bloom at the nursery – Austin Griffith, Paradise Pajaro, and the extremely long and still nascent blooms on the Brittle Leaf Manzanita.
