We went back to this place today to do some weeding and pruning. This part of the garden has weathered the drought well, despite not having any irrigation to speak of this summer. The other side of the house didn’t fare nearly as well. i think that this side got a monthly hose down, whereas the other side did not. There’s some pics of a dwarf-looking St. Catherine’s Lace, some beautiful Catalina Fuschsias and a very cool old iron planter i found today. East Bay Wilds Native Plant Nursery is open tomorrow and every friday from 9:30-4. We have a HUGE selection of gorgeous plants right now – very big Western Redbuds, Davis Gold Toyon, perfect small Madrones, many unusual Manzanitas, and so many more right now.
